Seasonal Sketching

Painting, flowers and education all wrapped up into one workshop! March Street Community Garden and Gemma Kirschner, with the generosity of Newcastle City Council, were thrilled to host this creative and educational workshop. Our goal; to help you slow down and notice the beneficial pollinators around you.

Kids Classes

Create A Character-

Teaching creativity and exploration through collage, my class was asked to make a story book character.

Held in Belmont Library to celebrate the exhibition ‘Cut & Paste’

Collage Critters-

Using templates to explore pattern and textures, my class was asked to create fun outfits for their animals.

Held in MAC Yapaang for the Dobell Festival

Paper Pollinators-

Choosing from butterflies local to their area, my class was asked to tear and stick papers to create the patterns of their butterflies while learning all about why they are important.
